Director’s Cut is a show featuring the New Works of co-Founders and co-Directors at Incline Gallery, Brian Perrin and Christo Oropeza. In recognition of Incline being an artist-run space, the pair put to practice the ability to work in both the creation and exhibition side of the local art scene.
Brian Perrin is a San Francisco based artist whose work explores aspects of n-dimensional geometry. Using mundane materials and transforming them through repetition, Perrin’s crocheted drawings outline theoretical spaces and explore unvisible features.
Christo Oropeza is a San Francisco-born artist working in multiple mediums. More recently, sourcing his own photography to create cut-paper images collaged together to reflect the changing and resisting landscapes of his Native City.
Incline Gallery is an alternative art space that fosters relationships between community and artists. We create opportunities for emerging as well as established artists to exhibit in a non-cube format that challenges and encourages experimentation in exhibition design. Our role continues to expand by facilitating outside curators, international exchanges and partnerships within a community based organization.
Gallery Hours Thurs/Friday 6-9pm, Sat/Sun 1-6pm
